The Metropolitan celebrated Divine Liturgy on the 29th Sunday after the Pentecost in the Nativity of Christ Cathedral in Chisinau, assisted by the Cathedral’s Ecclesiarch, mitred archpriest Vadim Cheibas and numerous clergy.
During the service the Archpastor, the priests, and the church-goers present at the Liturgy gave glory to Lord Jesus Christ and prayed to St. Ambrose of Mediolan, St. Rev. Nil of Stolobensk, Holy Martyr Philothea of Arges, asking for their heavenly intercession before the Lord’s Throne.
The church-goers were advised to continue their spiritual ascension of the Nativity fast, and to give glory to God, following the advice of this Sunday’s Gospel reading.
