In the morning, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, assisted by the Cathedral’s priests and deacons, celebrated the Divine Liturgy, in the presence of numerous church-goers who came to share thier spiritual joy of the service.
During the Service the Metropolitan ordained deacon Mihail Jeverdan to the priesthood, appointing him to the service at the church of Icon of the Theotokos “Joy of All Who Sorrow”. The newly ordained priest was also awarded the first church distinction – the right of wearing the Nabedrennik.
The Hierarch congratulated the newly-ordained priest, wishing him to devote all his life and efforts to the service of laminating the people, for the glory of the Church. Fr. Mihail thanked His Eminence for paternal guidance, and expressed gratefulness to the priests and deacons present at the service, thanking them for their prayers and support.
